For as long as memory serves, a tower reaching all the way to heaven has served as the center of human civilization, its upper floors shrouded in mystery. But recently, legions of monsters have been unleashed upon the world, sent by Aeus, the lord of Pandemonium. Now you must arm yourself, and find a way to reach him. Explore the world, battle monsters, find upgrades, and learn the ancient secrets.

controls for gamepad
dpad: move
a: jump
b: shoot
L: switch to supercharger
r: switch gun
start: open inventory
so yestarday i was playing this game with my controller, and now it doesnt work with controller at all so can u pls fix
Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, I made this in a prehistoric version of GMS going on ten years ago, so I don't even know where I would begin making changes like that.

Try pressing F2 after you load your save.
ok i think i deleted the save so i will try to play some of the game with keyboard (bc im bad at pc) and then i will re-enter the game and load save and press F2 assuming this should fix the controller bug if it doesnt work then i will have to use a gamepad mapper thx for helping
The way it's supposed to work is that pressing F2 toggles between keyboard and gamepad mode while the game is running so you should be able to do it at any time, but on my current setup I can't get the gamepad to work at all so who knows. It probably depends on what kind of gamepad you're using. I certainly don't know why I programmed it that way all those years ago.
