Thank you so much to everyone who has downloaded Vespadian, and everyone who followed me after its release!

I took a little break from it, but now I'm back with information on the first update.

It will include some major bug fixes and stability improvements, a few small balance changes, and one major new feature: the Adventurers' Guild.

At the adventurers' guild, you will be able to create more characters beyond the four you created at the start of the game. You can still only have four in your party at a time, but the characters you leave behind will be waiting for you whenever you're ready to add them back to your party.

This means that you no longer have to worry about creating the perfect party at the start of the game, and you don't have to start the game over if you decide you want to change your party composition. My hope is that this new feature will encourage players to experiment with a wide variety of character builds.

Another fun thing that is shown in the screenshot: characters not currently in your party will hang around the adventurers' guild building in Hearthaven. There, you can chat with them, and what they say will depend on their personality. The quote seen here is for the "brooding" personality. Try and see them all!
